Rydges Resort sits on 100 acres at Lovedale, room enough for an 18-hole golf course, a day spa, tennis courts and a water park with slides on the one site. It reopened under the Rydges name in 2023 after a refurbishment, having run for years as the Crowne Plaza. Rooms range from standard kings through pool-access rooms and suites to three-bedroom villas, the villas adding a kitchen.
There are several places to eat without leaving: the Gather steakhouse, the Lovedale Brewbar by the pool for pizza and pub food, and the Vista Lounge for coffee and pre-dinner drinks. Reception is staffed around the clock with 24-hour room service. It works best as the base you drive out from rather than a stop on a tasting day.

A steakhouse built on Australian produce, with a breakfast buffet from 6.30am. The Lovedale Brewbar near the main pool does pizza, burgers and pub food, and the Vista Lounge pours coffee and pre-dinner wine and cheese.
