Mindaribba House

Mindaribba Estate is a 70-acre property on the banks of the Paterson River, north-east of Maitland and a good half-hour from the Pokolbin cellar doors. The 1880s house has been extended in a modern wing and is let as a whole alongside Ribba Cottage, sleeping twelve across six bedrooms. The river frontage here is farmland rather than swimming water, so the in-ground pool is where you cool off.

On site there's a billiard room, a pickleball court and two barbecues with covered alfresco dining. Lorn, Paterson and Morpeth are minutes away, which gives you somewhere to eat without the drive back to the vines. It takes one group at a time on a two-night minimum, so it suits a family or a party that wants room to spread out rather than a couple after a walk to the tasting bench.
