Lillinos Bar and Trattoria

Lillino's is a Sardinian Italian trattoria on a vineyard estate at Lovedale, north of the main Pokolbin cluster, working wood-fired pizza, handmade pasta and Sardinian share plates. The room is rustic and warm, dressed with painted ceramic plates and wooden furniture, and it takes both families and dogs. There are separate restaurant, wine and group menus, and Italian wines fill out the list.

The kitchen runs from midday into the evening Thursday to Monday, closing at 8pm early in the week and 9pm on Friday and Saturday. It shuts between 3pm and 4:30pm each day, so time a late lunch before that gap or a dinner after it. Reservations are required by phone, email or online, and weekend seatings fill early. Groups are catered for on a set menu, which suits a relaxed family gathering out of the Pokolbin crowds.
