Berenbell Vineyard Retreat is three one-bedroom cottages and two two-bedroom lodges on Mistletoe Lane at Pokolbin, spaced for privacy but close enough that a group can gather in one of the larger lodges. Each cottage has a queen bed and a claw-foot bath in the ensuite; each lodge has a king upstairs and a queen downstairs, both with their own ensuite. The Brokenback Range fills the view front and back.
Every stay comes with a pot belly fireplace, a Nespresso machine, a bottle of wine and continental breakfast provisions. Owners Ken and Suzie live on site and hand over the key in person rather than through a keypad, so plan to confirm your arrival time when you book. Kangaroos are regular visitors to the lawns at dusk and dawn, and Pokolbin's cellar doors are close by.
