Corunna Station is a country estate on Hermitage Road at Belford, a hundred-acre working property a few minutes from the Hunter Expressway exit. Three separate houses share the grounds: the Cook's House sleeps four, the Homestead six, and the Country House ten to twelve, for up to twenty-two guests when the estate is taken whole. Old farm buildings, a shearing shed and hay shed among them, still stand across the paddocks, which run back toward the Brokenback Range.
Booked together the three houses suit a family gathering, a small wedding or a corporate retreat; booked singly they work for a smaller group. Belford sits at the northern end of the wine country, so it is a short drive to the Hermitage Road cellar doors and a little further to central Pokolbin. Reception is by arrangement, so contact the property to set a check-in time.
