Sutton Estate on Deasys Road at Pokolbin is built around things to do rather than a tasting bar. The line-up covers a wine-themed escape room with a tasting worked through it, a Wonka-style chocolate escape room the whole family can do, a smash room stocked with empty local bottles, one of the few wine-themed axe-throwing ranges going, and a UV splatter-painting bus. Electric bikes are hired by the day with a wine pickup for a slower way to see Pokolbin.
It suits a group after something different from another cellar door, and the escape and chocolate rooms give kids a part in the day while the adults taste.
