Cezan Trattoria and Bar

Cezan is the restaurant at Krinklewood, a certified organic and biodynamic wine estate at Broke, west of the main Pokolbin roads. The kitchen works a slow, seasonal, farm-to-table style with Italian and Mediterranean leanings: house-made breads, handmade pasta, wood-fired pizza, salads, kingfish crudo and artisanal cold cuts. The dishes are paired with the estate's own certified wines. Seating spreads across the estate's garden spaces, from a pool loggia and herb garden to a lawn looking over the vineyard.

It opens Friday to Sunday for lunch, from 11am into the mid-afternoon, with a 15 per cent surcharge on Sundays. Bookings are required and go through Tock, sometimes weeks or months ahead, with separate reservations for larger groups. Broke is a longer drive out from the Pokolbin core, so reserve before you build a day around it. This is a destination lunch among the vines rather than a quick stop between cellar doors.
