Margan is a family-owned winery and restaurant on 70 hectares of Broke vineyards, run by Lisa and Andrew Margan since 1996 on sustainable and regenerative farming. The Kitchen Garden, established in 2007, supplies the restaurant with estate-grown produce, its own olive oil and estate-reared lamb. The dining room has held one chef's hat in the Good Food Guide every year from 2017 to 2025, an unusually long run.
The restaurant serves lunch only, Thursday to Monday from noon, and is closed Tuesday and Wednesday, while the cellar door tastes daily. White Label Lunches and seasonal events pair estate wines with four-course menus built around what is harvested that day. Weddings and larger events run across a private dining room, a terrace and the Barrel Hall, so booking ahead is the way in, especially at weekends.
