Mangia @ Saddler's is run by Venetian chef Chiero from a vintage Airstream parked in the picnic garden on the Saddler's Creek grounds on Marrowbone Road. The kitchen turns out handmade pasta, slow-cooked meats and fresh seafood, with new specials each week paired to Saddler's own wines. It is casual service with restaurant-standard cooking, served alfresco by the vines, and both families and dogs are welcome.
Service runs Friday from 5pm to 8pm and Saturday from noon to 3pm, with live acoustic music across both. Walk-ins are welcome, though a larger group is worth booking ahead. Chef Chiero also runs private food and wine experiences and sells a deli pantry of sauces, antipasti and ready-to-eat meals to pair with wine at home, so the visit can carry beyond the table.
