Hunter Moon is a single house on 25 acres off Milbrodale Road at Broke, let to one group at a time. Eight bedrooms and six bathrooms sleep up to 22, or five bedrooms if the three verandah rooms are left out for a smaller booking. The kitchen and dining room are built for cooking together, and there is a media room for downtime.
The deck runs out to a jacuzzi and a firepit, a private creek sits at the edge of the field, and kangaroos and wombats are about at dusk. Rooms are named rather than numbered: Frida Kahlo, Moon, Azure, Rose, Mandarin, Palm, Cockatoo and Gumnut. This is a whole-house booking for a large group or an event, with arrival arranged directly when you book.
