Yellowrock Cottage stands on thirteen hillside acres above Broke, three bedrooms and a bath and a half, let whole to six guests. The open plan and floor-to-ceiling glass are built around the view of Yellowrock and the Brokenback range, opening onto a covered paved terrace with a barbecue. Each bedroom has a king bed or two king singles, with a combustion stove for winter and ducted air for summer.

Outside there is a fire pit and a hillside hot tub, and a path runs down beside the small Chardonnay and Shiraz vineyard to a shaded river and dam. Mount Broke, Margan and Nightingale are within walking or cycling distance, and the village is three kilometres away. A two-night minimum and a booking fee apply, arrival details come with the booking through Hunter Valley Stays, and the cottage is not pet friendly.
