Sweetacres sits on Hermitage Road at Pokolbin behind a screen of casuarina trees, built around a private billabong stocked with fish and birdlife where guests can row out in the estate's own boat. Six individually styled cottages, among them Billabong Cottage, Sunset Ridge and Tree Tops, plus the four-bedroom Homestead, sleep from two to twenty-four across the property. A couple can book a spa-bath studio while a larger group takes the whole place for a wedding weekend, and Sunset Ridge is the one pet-friendly cottage.
Days run between the shared saltwater pool, the timber deck over the water and the woodland walking tracks, with a Hermitage Road cycle route leading straight out the gate. Every cottage has its own combustion fireplace and outdoor barbecue, so evenings are as easy staying in as heading out to the cellar doors along Hermitage Road. The property is owner-managed with no staffed reception, so check-in and arrival details are arranged directly when you book.
