The Lane Retreat is a boutique stay on Palmers Lane at Pokolbin, sixty studio rooms spread over about fifteen hectares of vineyard and bush with views to the Brokenback Range. The studios open to the vines, and the grounds hold a swimming pool, two outdoor gathering areas, a pantry for coffee and provisions, and EV charging. One dog per studio is allowed for an added nightly fee.

The mix of scale and setting makes it a common choice for weddings, corporate groups and couples after a quiet base. Bimbadgen and its Esca restaurant are about three minutes away by car, and the wider Palmers Lane and McDonalds Road cellar doors are close.
