Aqua Golf sits in the Hunter Valley Gardens village on Broke Road, and the game is simple: hit a bucket of balls out at floating targets in the lake and win a voucher if one lands in a net. The further out the target, the better the prize, which runs to restaurant, cellar door, golf and balloon vouchers. A bucket of 35 balls is $12 with free club hire, up to 140 balls for $40. Next to it is an 18-hole putt putt course, adults $7 and children $6, club hire included.
This is the easiest place in Pokolbin to keep children or non-drinkers busy for an hour, and combo tickets pair a bucket with a round of putt putt. It opens seven days from 9.30am to 4pm, closed Christmas Day. Groups under ten do not need to book, with discount packages from ten adults, and note that Hunter Valley Gardens gift cards are not accepted here.
