Pukara Estate's Pokolbin store sits in Peppers Creek Village on Broke Road, and it is a break from wine tasting rather than more of it. The counter pours the estate's full range of Australian extra virgin olive oils, vinegars and condiments, so you taste your way along the shelf before deciding what to take home. The caramelised balsamic is the one people drive back for.
The Earth and Grace skincare line, built on the estate's own olive oil, is stocked here too. A counter tasting of the oils and vinegars takes about half an hour and needs no booking. The store is open every day from 10am to 4pm, with click and collect if you would rather order ahead, and it slots easily between cellar doors on the same stretch of Broke Road.
