Barefoot at Broke is a single three-bedroom house on the Broke Fordwich trail, at the foot of the Yengo range and backing onto bush. The bedrooms sit in opposite wings around a central living, dining and kitchen space that opens onto a deck, so a group of up to eight can spread out rather than live on top of each other. The main bedroom has its own ensuite and walk-in robe, with the other two set across the house.

A wood fireplace covers the cold months and there is a barbecue out on the deck. The house is set up for small children, with a cot, a high chair, children's tableware and a box of books and toys, and dogs are welcome too, which makes it a straightforward pick for a family or a group. Parking is free on site, and the cellar doors and restaurants of Broke are minutes away.
