Mahony Estate is a small family vineyard at Fordwich, in the Broke Fordwich subregion west of Pokolbin, planted in 1990 and kept deliberately short on labels. The range covers Verdelho, Barbera and Merlot with a couple of house blends, Grand Cuvee and Guv, mostly around $45 a bottle, and the winemaking leans on traditional fermentation and bottling rather than heavy intervention. Memberships ship a few times a year.
One practical point matters more than the rest here. The estate's own site currently states that scheduling a visit is temporarily closed, so this is not a place to turn up to unannounced. Ring or email before you plan anything around it, and treat it as a maybe rather than a fixed stop until they confirm.
