Serenity Grove is a 33-hectare working farm in Broke Fordwich with two three-bedroom cottages, Nevedilo and Frantoio, let separately. Each has a queen room and twin rooms, a full kitchen, air conditioning and two bathrooms, plus a wide shaded verandah, a gas barbecue and views across the Upper Hunter to Yango National Park. The farm runs twenty Brahman and Angus cattle and a thousand mature olive trees pressed for its own extra virgin oil.
Tariffs are charged per person per night and include provisions for a hot breakfast, with children under twelve at half price, which makes it straightforward for a family to price. A two-night minimum applies, though one night is sometimes approved subject to availability. Kangaroos come out on the paddock at dusk, and arrival is arranged with the owners, Ken and Karre, when you book.
