Peppers Creek Chateau sits on Broke Road inside a merlot vineyard at Pokolbin, built around a sandstone chapel and a Tuscan-style barrel room with exposed timber beams and a large fireplace. It runs as a weddings and events venue rather than a cellar door: full weddings up to 180 guests, micro weddings of 30 to 50, and elopements from two people. Catering is made from scratch on site by Wine Country Catering.
Three stone cottages, The Yacht Club, The Racquet Club and The Residence, sit in the village alongside and sleep up to 26 between them, which makes the estate a fit for a wedding party or a large group staying together. The setting looks over the merlot vineyard to rolling hills and bushland. There are no drop-in opening hours, so book a site visit or a stay first.
